Marie Bassi

Marie Bassi is the coordinator of the Center for Economic, Legal, and Social Studies and Documentation (CEDEJ) Khartoum, and an associate professor of political science at the University Côte d’Azur in Nice, France. Her research focuses on immigration and asylum policies, migrant support networks. For several years she has been working on the Sudanese diaspora in exile in France and Egypt and on the links between migration politics and diaspora politics.
