Maria Petriccione

Environmental scientist and lecturer at the University of Padua, specialising in GIS and remote sensing. Her work focuses on the geography of contemporary conflicts, drawing on archival records, satellite data and open sources to investigate the environmental and humanitarian impact of armed conflict on territories and on the populations that inhabit them.
